The Jarrett Bay Marine Industrial Park is a 175-acre park located south of Steel Tank Road (NCSR 1162) and west of N.C. Highway 101, approximately 6 miles north of the Town of Beaufort. In addition to its ideal location, Jarrett Bay Marine Industrial Park features a 50-ton and 220-ton travel lift and a 40-ton trailer that can lift large vessels such as tugs, barges, large yachts and trawlers directly to your lot. The park has a deep boat basin of 300 linear feet that adjoins the Intracoastal Waterway. The Intracoastal Waterway is maintained at a depth of 12 feet mean low water, and the basin offers direct deep-water access.
Labor Force and Resources
Carteret County's civilian labor force is over 28,520. The nearby Marine Corps bases at Camp Lejeune, New River and Cherry Point enhance Carteret County's skilled labor force. Each year approximately 7,000 Marines leave these bases, and many want to remain in the area. Transportation Access
