The 68′ Hatteras - Safari is in for a variety of repair work, including a power wash with new bottom & prop paint, hull polish, repairing the starboard exhaust, and fuel polishing.
The importance of fuel polishing:
From time to time micro organisms become present in fuel and tend to clog fuel lines, filters & other engine components. The micro organisms live in water present in the fuel and feed off the fuel itself. Continue reading “Importance of Fuel Polishing Explained with the Hatteras 68′ “Safari”” »

Dear Mr. Ramsey
Thank you for sending the subject
Very fortunately I can get 68′ Jarrett Bay Sportfisher this time which might be the first Jarrett Bay of this size in Japan and I am proud of it…
As you might know, Japanese seas around our country are rather rough than West Coast or Florida due to complicated currents and windows. Under such nature conditions, I am expecting that this boat shows an excellent ride and performances since I plan to participate several tournaments of sport fishing in my territories this year…

My eye immediately focused on the exterior North Carolina big bow flare. The exterior lines of the Jarrett Bay speak custom, all the way! There’s no mistaking a true custom Sportfisher from a production vessel. Once aboard, in the cockpit, one realizes how expansive the workspace truly is – especially when the action has four plus-anglers all hooked up at once. After my initial purchase, the addition of a mezzanine was for comfort on those hot long days. The salon air door opens up to a full salon, galley, and staircase of book-matched cherry cabinetry – who could resist! The interior amenity package is all custom carrying the cherry wood theme throughout.
Decoy (AKA Hog Wild & Adaro) is a fun sportfisher and a tournament winner with the primary use on billfish. The vessel has a long record on the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans from North Carolina to the Caribbean and San Diego to Panama. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico was home base for two years fishing mainly for stripe marlin and then in Los Suefzos, Costa Rica, for two years fishing both directions of Guatemala and Panama. Another fall and winter season is upon us as a successful spring and summer season winds down. The 106′ West Ship was hauled for annual maintenance prior to heading South for winter. The 68′ Hatteras, and the 68′ Jarrett Bay arrived from Bermuda after having fantastic fishing there to complete an availability & get ready for the winter season. The new 60′ Hatteras is here having the hull painted and new granite counter tops, outriggers&fighting chair installed.
The 1965 43′ Rybovich arrived by truck from a boat yard on Long Island, New York where it sat for the past two years. This classic will undergo a major facelift as we complete a full fairing and painting of the vessel, renewal of all brightwork, new teak covering boards and cockpit decking, new cockpit cabinets, and completely revamp mechanical and electrical systems throughout.
