Boat Name: Catalyst
Build: 38′ Grand Banks Eastbay
Hailing Port: New York, NY
Project Duration: 8 Months

This summer in the Jarrett Bay Service yard, we had the privilege of re-launching the Catalyst, a 38′ Grand Banks Eastbay, which was one of several full paint jobs we’ve been fortunate to host in the recent months.

While under the supervision of veteran Jarrett Bay Project Manager Keith Tosto, the large majority of Catalyst’s time here was in our paint facility, where she received a new navy blue hull, classic white topside, and vivid red Pettit bottom paint.

Other cosmetic upgrades include an overhaul on all varnished teak, a refinished teak cockpit and transom-mounted swimming platform, an all new satellite and navigation electronics package, and a full engine servicing on behalf of our brilliant in-house mechanical team, led by Joel Topie.

After concluding work, the boat was personally delivered to it’s owner in New York City by our delivery captain, Joey Johnson.

Another great job by all involved, especially the great paint work by our team here at Jarrett Bay.

CATALYST was delivered to NYC and looked like a new boat! Keith Tosto managed the entire project with humor, and expertise. We couldn’t be happier! We might be pint sized, but Keith never marginalized our project. Capt. Joey Johnson delivered quickly. What else can be said — Jarrett Bay’s team makes it easy!
