Jarrett Bay Announces Commission of a Third 90-foot Sportfish

90-foot Hull 69 to be built simultaneously alongside the in-progress 90-foot Hull 68

Jarrett Bay Boatworks has announced the commission of Hull 69, a 90-foot custom sportfish yacht designed for an owner and professional crew to pursue big game fishing destinations around the world. The new build represents the third 90-foot custom sportfisherman to be constructed by Jarrett Bay within the last decade, underscoring the company’s sustained leadership at the pinnacle of the custom sportfish market.

With the commissioning of Hull 69, and Hull 68’s construction well underway, Jarrett Bay will have two 90-foot custom sportfish builds in-progress simultaneously—a rare and noteworthy achievement that speaks to the yard’s depth of talent, engineering capability, and growing demand for fully custom vessels of this scale.

The new 90-footer will be purpose-built for international travel and competitive big game fishing, blending Jarrett Bay’s celebrated Carolina heritage with advanced engineering, refined accommodations, and true global cruising capability. From bluewater performance and fishability to luxury fit and finish, the vessel will be tailored to support extended campaigns in the world’s premier sportfishing destinations.

“Commissioning Hull 69 is a significant moment for Jarrett Bay,” said Jarrett Bay Founding Owner, Randy Ramsey. “Building our third 90-foot custom sportfish—while simultaneously constructing two boats of this size—speaks volumes about the trust owners place in our team and our ability to execute at the very highest level.”

The announcement comes as Jarrett Bay Boatworks embarks on its landmark 40th anniversary in 2026. Founded in 1986, the company has grown from a pioneering Carolina custom shop into one of the most respected sportfish yacht builders in the world, with a legacy defined by innovation, craftsmanship, and performance-driven design.

“As we look toward our 40th year, projects like Hull 69 reflect both how far we’ve come and where we’re headed,” added Ramsey. “Honoring tradition, while continuing to push boundaries, has always been central to the Jarrett Bay philosophy.”

Construction of Hull 69 is now underway at Jarrett Bay’s Beaufort, North Carolina facility, where the company’s full suite of in-house design, fabrication, and finishing resources will be brought to bear. Additional details will be released as the project progresses.
